No.8 The way to Wien crossing Switzerland and Ausrtia by walk !
                                         
I pass through a narrow valley.

	An abbey like a fort comes into view soon.
	I cross the bridge over the valley. The end of the bridge is the abbey.
	The street is short. But, this town is very clean.
	I gladly pitch my tent right in the middle of the wide grass. This is the best place in the shade. This campsite is large, quiet, and full of green.

 I hear the sound of the strong wind.
I wake up.
My tent flutters by the wind strongly.
Does the weather become worse?
Will it rain today?
I am worried about the weather.
I stick my head out of the tent,
and look up at the sky.
It's very fine.
There is no cloud in the sky.
I breathe easily.

 I begin to walk along the River Rhone.
Mountains project into both banks of the river.
The river becomes narrow.
This is a valley rather than a river.

It stands in the smallest place of the valley.
There is no level ground at all.
I cross the bridge over the valley.
The end of the bridge is the abbey.

 I go into a town of St. Maurice soon.
This town is small.
It is located along the valley.
The street is short.
But, this town is very clean.
When I am walking the street,
people living along this street greet me one after another.
    ' Bonjour '
I am accustomed to the custom of the greeting in the mountain.
But, I am not accustomed to the greeting in an unknown town.
The accent of 'Bonjour' is in "Bo".
They speak high.
And, they speak like they sing a song.
It seems to hear the song of the bird.
They seem to be fascinated themselves by their voice.

 I go to the campsite in the outskirts of the town.
I come to the campsite surrounded by the forest.
There is no tent.
There are a few campers.
There is a hut of the reception.
But there is no one in it.
An old man sits down and relaxes outside a camper.
I ask him the situation of this campsite.
He speaks French, and I speak English.
He doesn't understand my intention.
I finally understand the following.
  1. There is no administrator.
  2. There is no problem if I pitch a tent.
Therefore, it is free.
I gladly pitch my tent right in the middle of the wide grass.
This is the best place in the shade.
This campsite is large, quiet, and full of green.
The environment is very good.
There is only one fault.

   There is no water.

 I go shopping to the town of St.Maurice.
I have a cup of coffee in the buffet of St.Maurice railway station after shopping.
Some junior high school students are making noise in the terrace of the buffet.
Then the old waiter walks to their table.
He stares at them fixedly without saying a word.
The old waiter of the buffet has a dignified face.
Scared by his look, the school students run away.
I think that this method is worth trying.
A man who shouts at child soon doesn't have enough training yet.

 I come back to the camping site under the burning sun.
I walk the path in the grass along the river.
On the way, I meet a group of primary school children.
They are walking silently.
They seem to be tired.
When we brush against each other, suddenly a girl speaks to me.
She looks up at me.
Her face has redness from the sun.
She is a little making a face by the fatigue and by the glare of the sun.
"Is St.Maurice still far from here?"
I don't know how to answer her by French.
Her teacher calls back her in a loud voice.
She is disappointed.
She disappears into the grass in the burning air.
I thought I had better answer it by English or Japanese.
Swiss(Switzerland ) school children go for
an excursion under the burning sun
in midsummer.
It's a job.

 The midsummer sun is beating down on my tent.
It is so hot that I cannot go into the tent.
I wait until the shade of the trees covers my tent.
I sit on the clover spreading out all around.
And I read a book.
It is a quiet early afternoon.
It is full of the sunlight and green.
